Some of the best new restaurants to try in and around the City of Boston this Winter.

Batifol  |  A long standing South End favorite, Petit Robert Bistro now has a new sibling in town, but this time, in Kendall Square.  Experience French cuisine & specialty cocktails in this elegant, French-modern setting specializing in dishes from Escargots de Bourgogne with toasted brioche & garlic butter, to Coq Au Vin with fresh fettuccine.  Or, simply stop in to sit at the bar and enjoy their signature cocktail - Pigalle, curated with Empress gin, lychee juice & lemon juice.

Faccia a Faccia  |  Restauranteurs Ken Oringer & Jamie Bissonnette opened their newest spot right in the Back Bay.  Fans of Coppa & Toro - some of Boston's most classic restaurants - will absolutely love what Faccia a Faccia has brought to the Back Bay.  Faccia a Faccia features a scenic outdoor patio surrounded by greenery, and sits above a natural wine bar, Bar Pallino - think 'eating in an Italian garden.'  Enjoy coastal dishes ranging from Arctic Char & Grilled Octopus, to Squid Ink Trottole & Bucatini Cacio E Pepe.

Note: After dinner, step downstairs to Bar Pallino to enjoy an extensive wine list, curated solely by beverage director Jodie Battles.

Tonino  |  Crafted with the culture of Rome's City Center in mind, Tonino brings aperitivo & enotecas to Boston's neighborhood of Jamaica Plain.  At Tonino, you'll enjoy Pizza Bianca with ricotta & honey, Mortadella, Pecorino & House Pickles, or Rigatoni Amatriciana - an absolute staple in Rome, Italy curated with pork belly, pecorino romano cheese, tomato sauce & onion.  Also enjoy an assortment of drinks from the (of course) extensive wine list, to even the unexpected Sake.

Pescador  |  As a city that prides itself on it's seafood restaurants, Boston knows it can never have too many.  Pescador brings an exciting new revelation to the already booming seafood scene in Boston, by introducing interpretations of crudo, aquachile, ceviche & paella inspired by a variety of coastal dishes from Andalusia to Argentina.  This warm tropical like scene features a three page menu of specialties, and over 70 mezcals & tequilas, along with wine, beer & cocktails.
