About MEGAN KOPMAN

Megan Kopman is the team leader and founder of Kopman Adler + Co., known for her meticulous, data-driven approach and ability to create meaningful value for every client. Drawing on her background as a commercial real estate attorney at Goodwin Procter, Megan brings a rare combination of legal sophistication, financial analysis, and on-the-ground market knowledge to each transaction.

 

Over the course of her nearly 20-year residential real estate career, Megan has sold over $700 million in real estate and ranks among the top 1% of real estate professionals nationwide, as recognized by RealTrends. Most of her business comes through word-of-mouth referrals from clients who value her attention to detail, real-time data insights, and ability to source unique, hard-to-find opportunities. She evaluates success one client at a time, believing that luxury is a client experience, not a price point.

 

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Megan attended John Burroughs School and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1994. After time in Aspen, Boulder, and Washington, D.C., she moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University School of Law. She began her legal career in the commercial real estate departments of Day Pitney and Goodwin Procter, working on complex financings and large-scale portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.

 

In 2005, Megan transitioned into residential real estate, founding her own South End firm before joining Campion & Company and ultimately finding her long-term home at Compass. Today, she leads a team of five experienced agents focused on Boston’s luxury residential market, with particular expertise in the South End, Back Bay, and Beacon Hill. After more than 20 years living in the South End and Back Bay, Megan now resides in the Moss Hill area of Jamaica Plain with her two daughters and their various animals.
